Organising Call Centre (OCC) Operator


NZEI Te Riu Roa is looking for a permanent Part-time Organising Call Centre Operator.  The major purpose of the role is to make contact with the Union’s members as directed on specific issues.

The position is for 11.5 hours per week, working 2 shifts of 4 pm to 8 pm and 1 shift of 4.30 pm to 8 pm, Tuesday to Thursday.

You will need to have excellent communication skills, a great telephone manner, a high level of computer literacy, the ability to make appropriate decisions about priorities, meet deadlines and demonstrate an understanding of unionism and the Treaty of Waitangi.

The role reports to the Director of Organising and is part of a team based in the NZEI National Office in Wellington.
