Kia ora and welcome!
The job of an NZEI Te Riu Roa worksite representative is one of the most important roles in NZEI. You are the link between the wider membership and the union. With your help, members are able to make well-informed decisions about participating in their school or centre as well as in the workings of the union.
As a worksite rep, you are also critically important as the person who encourages and helps other members become further involved in their union. Whether it is attending branch or district council meetings, involving yourself and others in campaign work, or recruiting new members, you are the face of the union at your site. NZEI is grateful for the time and energy you give to this role.
