Fix It Now - Support Staff Campaign for Fairer Funding

United Future Says Scrap Bulk Funding Support Staff

The NZEI campaign for a better funding system for support staff has gained traction with at least one political party.

United Future's education spokesperson Judy Turner, has issued a media release saying bulk funding of support staff from each school's operations grant should be scrapped.

School Support Staff and the Operations Funding Review

The Operations Funding Review by the Ministry of Education will report to Minister Hon Steve Maharey in October on issues and options for schools' operations funding.   Support Staff funding is a huge component of this issue.
