Your negotiations

NZEI Te Riu Roa has two separate agreements for principals - the Primary Principals' Collective Agreement and the Area Schools Principals' Collective Agreement.  While many of the same issues apply, there are some unique aspects of each, and they are negotiated separately.

Primary Principals

Area Schools Principals

The Area Schools Principals Negotiations 2007 page gives an overview of your negotiations, with timelines, updated information, and links to NZEI Negotiations newsletters. This agreement is negotiated jointly with the Post Primary Teachers' Association (PPTA).

Principal to Principal ezines

This year NZEI is using e-mail magazines, ‘ezines’, to keep you updated on the negotiations process for both the PPCA (principals’ agreement) and, in some cases, the PTCA (teachers’ agreement).

The Principal to Principal ezine is an electronic negotiation update letter from Frances Nelson, Principal of Fairburn School in Auckland and the primary principals’ negotiations team leader. These ezines will be sent out regularly until the PPCA has been settled.
