Operation Orange

If you're an NZEI member concerned about the implications of National Standards for teaching and learning, join Operation Orange!
 
Operation Orange is a network of more than 2000 people around the country who are involved in NZEI's National Standards campaign. Members are:

• organising community meetings to discuss whether National Standards are a good thing for their school
• leading professional discussions in their schools about whether the Standards support children's learning
• writing letters to their local papers
• talking to their Members of Parliament about their concerns
• initiating discussions with their Boards and parent communities about the Standards.
