Support and Advice for New Teachers

We know that your first few years in a school or centre can be an overwhelming experience. NZEI Te Riu Roa is here to support you before, during and after your time as a provisionally registered teacher.

NZEI holds Provisionally Registered Teacher (PRT) seminars every year to give you information about registration, your rights under your collective agreement and an opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues that affect you as a beginning teacher.
