Dear Worksite Reps,

KEY POINTS:

• The PTCA has been settled subject to members’ ratification. The settlement is recommended for ratification by the NZEI negotiating team and NZEI’s National Executive.
• This pack contains a booklet outlining the terms of settlement of the PTCA and some background information. There are also instructions for worksite representatives to enable you to conduct a ratification vote at your school.
• There are optional after school meetings planned for teachers who wish to ask questions or discuss the settlement. A list is attached to this newsletter.

Note: A vote will not be conducted at the information meetings. It must be conducted at each worksite.

ACTION:

• Ensure that all teacher members are aware of the NZEI meeting being held in your area.
• See the instructions on the yellow cover sheet with this pack to complete a ratification vote.
