If you're an NZEI member, your field officer should be your first point of contact. Whether you need help with professional or employment issues, want support implementing a great idea with your branch, or need a sounding board for advice, they are just a phone call away.
NZEI has three regional offices and 10 field offices employing more than 40 field staff and takawaenga. Their job is to work with you and other members to build a strong, active and democratic organisation, empowering and facilitating you to act together to improve your professional lives and your pay and conditions. Their work includes recruitment of new members, training and supporting worksite representatives, handling disputes and grievances, building effective relationships with employers and helping members solve problems at work.
