Te Kahui Whetu

Te Kahui Whetu is the national forum for debating issues and concerns in Maori education and setting NZEI Te Riu Roa policy on Maori education and Maori issues. It also provides professional learning for all staff involved in Maori education.

Te Kahui Whetu provides a forum for NZEI Te Riu Roa to be accountable and report on work in Maori education over the past year.

The 2007 hui was held at Te Pa o Manurewa in Auckland from June 30-July 3.
