Provisionally Registered Teacher Information

NZEI believes supporting new teachers is vital.  We encourage PRTs to meet with their NZEI worksite reps to discuss joining NZEI and accessing the help and support they can get from other NZEI members and NZEI staff. PRTs can also talk through the information here with their tutor teachers and professional leaders.

Teacher's Council Resources 'Towards Full Registration' has information for beginning teachers, tutor teachers, principals and boards of trustees. It includes sections that cover registration for early childhood education services and Māori medium education.
