Discussion Sheets

The Fair Deal Campaign in 2009 brought support staff in schools recognition as an essential and valuable workforce. As a result of the campaign, support staff are credited with being the group who 'broke the wage freeze', as well as gaining ground around low pay issues.

In spite of this success there are still many issues facing us. Discussions sheets for support staff are being developed and will be regularly circulated to school contacts. Members engaging in these discussions and providing feedback will be vital to maintaining our momentum, leading us to the next bargaining round in March 2011.
