Te Reo Areare

Ko Te Reo Areare te mangai a motu, ki Te Riu Roa, mo nga take Māori, matauranga Māori, nga mema Māori. Tu ngatahi a Te Reo Areare me nga Apiha Riroa a motu.

Te Reo Areare provides national leadership for NZEI Te Riu Roa in Māori issues, Māori education and for Māori members. It has an equal party relationship with National Executive.

Membership includes representatives from Aronui Tomua, rohe, the early childhood sector, support staff and student teachers. Te Reo Areare members participate fully in implementing the general priorities of NZEI and are represented on all the general structures — National Executive, Early Childhood National Caucus, Te Roopu Kaiawhina Tautoko Support Staff, and Principals' Council.
