Teachers and supports demand Novopain relief
Anger and frustration over the Government's continued failure to fix the Novopay debacle spilled into the streets around the country this morning.
Hundreds of school staff and their supporters picketed Government MPs offices around the country to send yet another clear message to the Government that it needs to show more commitment to relieving the Novopay pain.
It's now been six months since the beleagured system was introduced leaving thousands of teachers underpaid, overpaid or not paid at all.
The system has caused hundreds of extra hours work for school payroll staff and principals as well as causing chaos for school and budgets.
