Ministry of Education Special Education offers 7 categories of Study Awards and 2 categories of scholarships for 2011, for many of the specialist roles to support teachers through training.

Each year, these scholarships support 200 individuals with their training and depending on the type of award or scholarship allocated, tuition fees and paid leave, together with travel and accommodation are covered.

This year the application process is online to make it easier for applicants.

The deadline for applications is 16 September 2011.
