Make an NZEI Award Nomination
NZEI awards are conferred on members and non-members who have made an outstanding contribution to NZEI and education. The awards are conferred by NZEI National Executive on the recommendation of the Honours Committee, established under the Rules of NZEI Te Riu Roa. Nominations are received from Branches and District Councils each year.
NZEI Grades of Membership Awards 2010
Nominations are now invited for the 2010 Awards of Associate, Fellow, Honorary Fellow and Life Member of the Institute (refer Branch News 2010/1). The Institute, in making these Awards, gives official recognition to those who have demonstrated outstanding competence in their professional practice or have rendered significant service to education and the objects and goals of the Institute.
Consider members and non-members in your branch/aronui tomua /komiti pasifika/area council who meet the criteria and send in a nomination form to reach the National Secretary by 1 June 2010.
Awards are announced just prior to Annual Meeting and presented to Fellows, Honorary Fellows and Life Members at Annual Meeting. The badges and certificates for Associates are sent to branches with a request to arrange a suitable function for their presentation.
